A Good Story
GOOD DOG was born in 2008, inspired by one girl’s childhood hot dog memories.
The daughter of a Dutch immigrant Father and an Ohio history teacher Mother, the family vacationed throughout America and hot dogs were the mealtime staple. Hot dog shops were most often Mom-n-Pop shops whose menus were geographic and could simply be defined as Americana! See Rock City Inc. acquired GOOD DOG in 2021 and looks forward to jumping in and building upon the amazing institution her family had created.
GOOD DOG’s motto is “Hotdogs for ALL”, grilling all-beef, natural-casing Sabrett’s hot dogs, veggie dogs, italian sausage, and occasional specials. All menu items are available vegetarian, and we offer vegan or gluten-free options. With so much to choose from, not only will you find a new favorite at every visit, you will run into a familiar face in our friendly staff.
In 2022, we moved the brand to a mobile operation, GOOD DOG GO!, and closed the brick and mortar location on Frazier Ave. We are excited about this next chapter in the GOOD DOG story going forward.
