Good story
Good Dog Home

My name is Susan. My Dad is Fred. I am the daughter of a Dutch-immigrant and a Southern-Ohio native. “Fred” travelled the States to learn about them, Sandy (my mom) travelled the States to see what she taught in her high school history class (bor-ing). We kids were often complaining passengers until we stopped at the local hotdog shops.

My Dad enjoyed eating a GOOD hot dog just about anywhere and I can picture him leaning against our green Pontiac on more than one occasion with a dog in his hand and chili on his chin. I can hear the hot dog vendor yelling, “hot dogs, hot dogs” at Jacob’s Field in Cleveland, Ohio where we would often go to see the Indian’s play. Bertman’s Famous Ballpark mustard was there. It was all you needed in Cleveland, and it is great on a dog in Chattanooga.
